bed was very comfortable. The food was loverly and the staff were very friendly and could not be faulted in any way.
The curtains let the light in the room and there was a damp smell in the room which came from the bathroom. which at night was a bit much. However this did not spoil our stay. We did have a great time. :) And yes we would stay again.

After requesting the least stairs possible, I had a ground floor room.
I would have liked to have been nearer to the beach as I am a very slow walker but for others it would be fine

The welcome was warm and the rooms adjoining as requested.the breakfast was excellent.
We found the stairs difficult , small treads with thick carpet. the windows worried us in the case of fire you could not access through them! The showers were not running well and the size of rooms were rather small for large people.

Greeted with a genuine smile, the hosts were pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. The room was clean and spacious and the breakfast well-cooked and ample. Our stay was only let down by a very noisy child screaming at its mother at 6.45am but if parents can't control their kids they should stop at home, not spoil it for everyone else!! No fault of the hotel of course; in other words I do highly recommend this venue to other travellers.

One reason we chose the carlee was the 12 oclock check in. It was nicely situated for the tower and shops and a nice walk along the beach to the sandcastle. The room was clean and plenty of room with 2 double beds. A lovely cooked breakfast with plenty of toast.

The owner was very friendly and obliging.
The room was tiny and not suitable as a double, although the owner did give us the option to have a different room, but as we were only staying one night we decided it would be ok. Unfortunately the bed was terribly uncomfortable, it was too firm and incredibly hard as were the foam filled pillows. The room was that small the bed was up against one wall, with just enough room to get out of bed the other side. No space for any luggage.
